This is a fun page for readers. I find and read delightful articles, snippets, blogs, pictures and books that are funky, factual or fancy. They are about communication, popular media, music, film, advertising, design and humankind. The Internet is just the coolest, best invention ever – what will we do without it? Imagine a humongous library every minute at the virtual tips of our fingers, 24/7.
I am a watcher-of-humans and researcher, and I find some of the articles here below so cool.
Some of these connect with my own stories and life, such as my own ongoing struggle of decades against the incurable auto-immune diseases of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ulcerative Colitis (an incurable tummy disease), which caused the loss of my entire colon. (I know, Superwoman and friends …)
I have completed a Gender Reconciliation Facilitator course last year, and I admire all the wonderful work women do everywhere to make the world a better place. (I like men and their work too!) One subject that gets me going is the stereotypes in the media of women and men. It’s really sad how mass society gets fed by silly images and ideals in magazines, films, books and television. And then our relationships and expectations suffer because of those stereotypes.
I hope you enjoy these delightful findings as much as I enjoyed them!
